MARIELA BORRELLO

Office Gap Inc. is a full-service fabricator and contract dealership serving corporate, hospitality, healthcare, educational and public facilities in the areas of design, interior finishes procurement, tenant improvement construction plans, installation and accessories. Founder and President, Mariela Borrello, is a veteran of creating and managing Office Gap, Inc. For the past 30 years, her passion to build functional environments has led her to manufacture products for organizations and individuals. She is the founder of her brand “Terrazzo and Tiles” for slabs, mosaics, tiles and home accessories.

Mariela overcame obstacles as a young widow with a child, to become an entrepreneur and a proud mother of her son who attended Fordham University and completed his MBA at Cornell.  Now, she continues with her passion for the construction industry, and supporting other entrepreneurs to navigate during challenging times, and to dream BIG.  Mariela’s intellectual curiosity also drives her to be a lifelong learner. She has over five graduate certificates in construction and a bachelor’s degree from the Art Institute. She recently earned her diploma and license for Water Damage Restoration. Mariela’s favorite Mantra is “Burn the ships.”
